Shading Options- Tools under this second button offers several ways to shade your drawing if you do not feel like mixing your own colors for shading. You can shade using Tone, Shade-off, Hi-Lite, and Dark.

1. Tone tool is a useful tool, especially if you want to shade the skin in black and white piece. Mangaka uses tones a lot because usually mangas are in black and white, and this tool is the exact same thing. The tone weight can be adjusted to be lighter or darker.

2. Clicking once in tone tool will take you to shade-off tool, which is basically to give shades on the ink. It smears/blends the colors on the canvas.

3. Clicking once again will take you to Hi-Lite tool, and Dark tool after that. It's another possible way to shade. However, most people rarely use these tools, as shading is done better by mixing the colors.
